As I approach graduation from Brigham Young University's journalism program, I'm seeking opportunities to build my storytelling skills in a professional setting. I'm passionate about connecting with diverse groups of people, helping them share their stories with others and making the world a better place by provoking thought and inspiring my readers to think critically.

 

 I'm originally from Salem, Utah, but I also call southern Texas my home. I recently married my husband, Mitchell, and I'm excited to figure out life with him by my side. I've enjoyed working at BYU's Daily Universe for nearly a year, and am optimistic about finding new opportunities to expand my journalistic skills.
